Dear Metadium Community,

With the end of 2023’s first quarter we would like to briefly highlight the progress achieved during the past three months.

Summary

The first three months of 2023 saw a total of 12,026,820 transactions and 29,182 DID wallets created.
The Metadium ecosystem expanded to new industries and territories including SE Asia and Latin America.
Metadium joined Orbit Bridge as the 21st mainnet and introduced META to the ton ecosystem.
A new liquidity pool was formed in Megaton Finance, allowing individuals to supply liquidity to oMETA-oUSDC or oMETA-WTON pools freely.
We welcomed two new BP Node partners: MBlock Inc. and VistaLabs Inc.
The Avocado Hard Fork was implemented to the testnet and subsequently to the Metadium mainnet.

Metadium 2.0 Roadmap Release

The new roadmap for Metadium 2.0 was released on January 20th and listed the steps our team will take in order to achieve our mission. It was divided in four sections:

Governance implementation contract upgrade

The Governance DApp member management contract was upgrated.

BP Node Partners

A couple of days ago we announced changes on our list of BP Node partners, which are responsible for monitoring the nodes and networks of the Metadium blockchain. They also participate in proposals and votes to activate the Metadium blockchain ecosystem. Two main changes:

— MaeKyung Media Group is being replaced by its subsidiary MBlock Inc.

— Blockwater Technologies Co. Ltd. was replaced by VistaLabs Inc.

In addition the firewall settings of BP Node Public IP were updated.

Technology

Q1 Monthly Transactions

During the first three months of 2023 there were a total of 12,026,820 transactions and 29,182 DID wallets (as of March 30th).

HardFork

After the successful implementation of the Avocado Hard Fork in the Metadium testnet on February 24th, the Metadium Development Team spent weeks monitoring and confirming its stability before applying it to the mainnet.

Orbit Bridge

Metadium joined Orbit Bridge as the 21st mainnet and introduced META to the ton ecosystem, setting the first stage for multichain-based growth. The Metadium chain in Orbit Bridge will be validated by a group formed by Metadium, Coinplug, Ozys, and MoveLabs.

Partnerships

Pangea Inc. has worked on multiple blockchain projects, including an artwork NFT platform, a K-content platform, and a P2E project. Pangea’s most recent project is SBT.PIZZA, a service that helps brands, institutions, and influencers to easily issue NFTs to consumers and fans and build strong communities. Via SBTs, the receivers can authenticate or commemorate experiences related to the issuers.

Through this partnership both companies will cooperate in developing new business opportunities in the Metaverse, including NFT and SBT projects.

ES Energía is a global company developing renewable energy products and solutions with over twenty years of experience across different markets.

Partnering with ES Energía gives us access to its existing SE Asia and Latin America network, opening new opportunities to provide Metadium blockchain technology to new users. The two companies are looking to develop a new project in the Indonesian market and expect to continue expanding their cooperation into other countries. Their goal is to implement Metadium’s DID technology to provide millions of Indonesians with easy and safe identification and authentication.

On March 15th we announced our partnership with Megaton Finance who will support Metadium’s continuous growth and the connection of networks. As META entered the multichain a new liquidity pool was formed in Megaton Finance (AMM-DEX), allowing individuals to supply liquidity to oMETA-oUSDC or oMETA-WTON pools freely.

Netcube is a telecommunication software company that deploys 5G connectivity solutions to businesses and vertical enterprises specializing in converging ‘mobile networks’ and ‘data networks’ with security, telecommunications, and IT service expertise.

Metadium and Netcube will cooperate to expand the uses of blockchain with wired and 5G wireless networks and multi-chain wallet development.

NDXInvest is a Singapore-based project aiming to connect individuals to organizational enterprises with Web3-based philosophies and technologies for successful Digital Transformation. The core team is formed by experts who previously work in companies like Samsung and Google.

With this partnership the two companies seek to develop a new project that promotes a DAO, a DAC and a new DEX. The DEX would first be launched as a MVP (minimum viable product) using the META-Orbit bridge for locking up and DeFi investing features using Metadium’s and NDX’s native tokens as well as BTC, ETH and MATIC.

얼마전 메타디움 팀은 BP Node 파트너사와 관련된 업데이트 사항을 공지했습니다. 메타디움의 BP Node 파트너사는 메타디움 블록체인의 노드와 네트워크를 모니터링하는 역할을 담당합니다. 또한, 메타디움 블록체인의 생태계를 활성화하기 위한 제안 및 투표에 참여합니다.

변경사항은 아래와 같습니다:

— 매경미디어그룹이 자회사 엠블록으로 교체되었습니다.

— 블록워터가 비스타랩스로 교체되었습니다

또한 BP 노드 공용 IP의 방화벽 설정이 업데이트 되었습니다.

하드포크

메타디움 개발팀은 지난 2월 24일 메타디움 테스트넷에 아보카도 하드포크를 성공적으로 반영한 후, 메인넷에 적용하기 전 몇 주간 모니터링하고 안정성을 확인했습니다.

주요내용: Consensus, params, Metadium: DAG 기반 다이제스트를 단순 sha256 해시로 변경

오르빗 브릿지

메타디움은 오르빗 브릿지의 21번째 메인넷으로 합류하여 톤 생태계에 META를 도입했고 멀티체인 기반 성장의 첫 발판을 마련했습니다. 오르빗 브릿지에서 메타디움 체인은 메타디움, 코인플러그, 오지스, 무브랩스로 구성된 밸리데이터 그룹에 의해 검증될 것입니다.

파트너십

판게아는 미술 NFT 플랫폼, K-콘텐츠 플랫폼, P2E 프로젝트를 포함한 다수의 블록체인 프로젝트에 참여했습니다. 판게아의 가장 최근 프로젝트는 SBT.PIZZA로, 브랜드, 기관, 인플루언서들이 소비자와 팬들에게 NFT를 쉽게 발행하고 끈끈한 커뮤니티를 구축할 수 있도록 돕는 서비스입니다. 소유자는 SBT를 통해 발행자와 관련된 경험을 인증하거나 기념할 수 있습니다.

메타디움과 판게아는 이번 파트너십을 통해 NFT와 SBT 프로젝트를 포함한 신규 메타버스 비즈니스를 개발하기 위해 협력할 예정입니다.

지난 3월 15일 메타디움은 메가톤 파이낸스와의 파트너십을 발표했습니다. 이번 파트너십을 통해 메타디움의 지속적인 성장과 네트워크 연결을 지원할 예정입니다. 15일 META가 멀티체인으로 진출하며 유동성 페어 풀이 메가톤 파이낸스 (AMM-DEX)에 형성되었고 누구나 oMETA-oUSDC 혹은 oMETA-WTON 풀에 자유롭게 유동성을 공급할 수 있게 되었습니다.

넷큐브는 보안, 통신, IT 서비스 전문성을 바탕으로 ‘모바일 네트워크’와 ‘데이터 네트워크’ 융합을 전문으로 하여 기업 간에 5G 연결 솔루션을 제공하는 통신 소프트웨어 기업입니다.

메타디움과 넷큐브는 유무선 네트워크를 갖춘 블록체인의 활용을 확대하고 멀티체인 월렛을 개발하기 위해 협력할 예정입니다.

NDXInvest는 성공적인 디지털 트랜스포메이션을 위한 Web3 기반의 철학과 기술로 개인을 조직, 기업과 연결하는 것을 목표로 하는 싱가포르 기반의 프로젝트입니다. 팀의 핵심 구성원은 삼성과 구글 등에서 근무한 이력이 있는 전문가들로 구성되어 있습니다.

이번 파트너십을 통해 양 사는 DAO, DAC 및 새로운 DEX를 촉진하는 신규 프로젝트를 개발할 예정입니다. DEX는 우선 메타디움과 NDX의 고유 토큰뿐만 아니라 BTC, ETH 및 MATIC을 사용하여 잠금 및 DeFi 투자 기능을 위해 META-Orbit 브리지를 사용하는 MVP(최소 기능 제품)로 출시될 예정입니다.
