MetaX Expands to Asia-Pacific

As we start the new year, we are elated to announce that MetaX has officially opened our first international branch in Tokyo, Japan!
Over the last few months, our team legally registered MetaX’s entity in Japan, a feat we are incredibly proud of accomplishing. With Asia emerging as the fastest developing market for blockchain startups, it is only natural that MetaX establish its presence in the region. The purpose of this branch is to ensure that adChain is a global standard for all actors in the space and to discover the digital advertising protocols within Asia-Pacific. We will continue to run operations in Santa Monica concurrently with operations in Japan to give our community 24-hour access to the team.
Although our focus is on moving forward, we acknowledge this next step for MetaX derived from 2018’s accomplishments. The adChain Publisher Registry launched on the Ethereum Mainnet in April and was the first Token-Curated Registry (TCR) to enter the ecosystem. Since the birth of its existence, developers have forked the adChain TCR Github repo 112 times! As thought leaders in the space, we enjoy watching projects grow from our endeavors and continue to learn from their work.
A considerable part of last year also included involvement in numerous events within the blockchain and advertising industries. MetaX organized Blockchain Xplore, a conference that attracted over 200 ad ops professionals and included speakers from Microsoft, Google, The New York Times, and ConsenSys. Furthermore, our team attended and spoke at a variety of events around the world such as the World Economic Forum, Cannes Lions, Pillar Unconference, and Devcon IV. Knowledge and connections gained from this involvement contributed to the building and launch of the adChain Registry and future MetaX ad tech products.
