Frozen — Joyner Lucas
Joyner has been blowing up lately and is dropping hits after hits. This song is so lyrical and the message behind is just amazing. Joyner cares for the community and isn’t scared to speak on any topic. This song shows just that with Texting and Driving, Drinking and Driving and Speeding.
Minimum Wage — Taylor Bennett
Another single recently dropped. This artist isn’t super well known but dang he can spit. This is Chance The Rapper’s brother and they have made songs before. Hopefully they drop more music together this year. This song explains working for Minimum Wage instead of out here rapping for big bucks.
Campfire — Amine ft. Injury Reserve
After Amine’s project Good For You, I have been a huge fan. This song will hopefully blow up as it isn’t doing amazing. Injury Reserve has crazy bars as Amine does as well, The song was put together so well. The reason people are hating on this is because the video, The green hair and pink hair and corny stuff. I love this song though.
Vacation In Hell — Flatbush Zombies
I basically went over this album in one of my latest articles. Here is the link. All in all it was a great album and deserves recognition. The songs added to my playlist are: Chunky, Vacation, Headstone, Leather Symphony, Proxies and, The Glory.

Nice For What — Drake
What can I say? Drake is killing the game this year with songs after songs after songs! This song has an amazing chorus that is a sample of Lauryn Hill. Drake is just bringing good vibes into 2018. His verses in the song were great and had some good bars. The video was cool, It featured a bunch of famous women that had something to do with Drake here is an example: The first girl Olivia Wilde got a shoutout in one of Drake’s lyrics. “We can get wild like Olivia.”

I Heard You Got Too Litt Last Night — SAINt JHN
So this song didn’t come out around this time period but my older brother went to Number Fest. Which was crazy and he had many stories to tell me about it. One of the first artists was SAINt JHN and I went and listened to his music and loved it. This song stuck out to me and so I added to my playlist.
420 Freestyle — Wiz Khalifa
If anyone in the rap was to drop a 4/20 song on 4/20 it would be Wiz Khalifa. This song goes so hard, the beat is crazy and he recorded first try on YouTube. “If a n*gga want beef, We filet and we chop it.” That bar is crazy good! Wiz is always dropping music for me to love and I hope he doesn’t stop soon.
