As a preliminary research, I interviewed several people to understand their perception of life documentation. I made discussion guide and prepared specific questions under a few themes such as journaling, social media, self-tracking, data management to get overall perspective towards the topic.
As in-class activity, I did group brainstorming exercise with 3 classmates: Julian, David.A, Keith. Basically, we shared each thesis topic and then brainstormed together. It was helpful session in terms of clarifying problem areas, and expending my perspective towards the topic.
