Key Milestones Reached & Pre-Sale Success: Muon August Recap
The summer of Muon gets a fitting ending, with a sold out pre-sale, new tech & key development milestones achieved
You may be forgiven for believing that a slower market means slower development, but in Muon’s case this couldn’t be further from the truth. While both crypto and global markets have slumped in August, our developments have risen to new heights, and we capped off the summer season with our sold out community pre-sale! Whether it’s tech development, community building or partner relations, all signs are strong as we head into the latter stages of the year.
Community Pre-Sale Sold Out!
The highlight of the month was undoubtedly the $MUON community sale. The allocated tokens sold out in less than 4 days, with over 1000 members taking part.
Due to the strong demand among the community, a community whitelist mechanism was used so that early, active members could have priority in the sale for the first three days (with purchasing restrictions). The speed at which the remaining tokens sold out on the 4th day proved the mechanism was beneficial.

Multi-Chain Claiming with Muon Tech
Another successful milestone of the $MUON pre-sale was down to the technology that made it possible. Our very own Muon pre-sale app was unveiled, allowing users to natively claim from their choice of 7 different chains.
The app used the Muon network to verify claims, and broadcast that information across all chains used, ensuring a secure and highly accessible sale. Even more exciting for the project is that the pre-sale marked a successful first implementation of the app which can now be used by any partner wishing to run their own multichain token sale or even airdrop!

Sustainable Token Design
As the community were purchasing their first allocations of $MUON, we unveiled more details on the $MUON tokenomics and its role in the Muon ecosystem.
Built on long-term incentives and intrinsic utility, $MUON is a centrepiece of the public Muon node network that is to be released later this year. Whether you are looking to operate a network node, provide trading liquidity or contribute to decentralized governance, $MUON has a big role to play.

Development Update: Finalizing Bonds & Strengthening Core Network
August saw the completion of all tech development items on V3 of our roadmap ahead of schedule. The recent focus on the development of Muon’s core has led to significant advancements in our network consensus mechanisms, such as TSS, multi-core processing nodes and custom node signatures, all of which are setting up an increasingly secure and efficient decentralized system.
Along with these core node developments, the backend of the $MUON bonds program has also now largely been finalized, which will allow users to lend $USDC and borrow $MUON. Stay tuned as more information on this process comes out closer to the bonds launch.

Despite the headwinds within the crypto markets, our community continues to gain steam as we work to Muonize the world! Some of our growth highlights during August include:

The bear market offers a tremendous opportunity for investors to learn and understand the fundamentals of Muon.
