The first three days of this diet are actually kinda fun.
The cleanse is done, it’s Friday, May 29, 2015. My clothes already fit a little better. Again, I started the morning by weighing in at 236.3.
Diets are ridiculously hard. You know what’s harder? Constantly thinking about the next public event and what you’re going to wear in order to not appear big.
Yesterday was the birthday party and Day 5's weigh-in was 235.7
Today’s weigh-in: 234.6 — another 1lb
Total weight loss: 245.4–234.6 = 10.8lbs

I spent 20 minutes in the fresh food section of Kroger — an all-time record. Sadly, 12 minutes was spent trying to open produce bags. It’s 2015 and they still haven’t figured out an elegant solution to the produce bag. I’m stuck looking like I’m trying to start a fire…
Today I weighed in at 232.8. Down only .4 lbs from the day before. It’s my lowest loss yet. I chalk it up to yesterday eating lettuce from Noodles & Company with my own turkey. Then, on the way to Bible Study, I stopped and had a McDonald’s side salad with one of their new “Artisan Chicken”…
Yesterday’s morning weigh-in: 236.3
Today: 235.7!
The breakfast started off pretty similar to yesterdays: eggs, bread, and orange.
Morning weigh-in = 233.2 = about 12 lbs in 7 full days. Sweet!

The pounds are shedding away. Feels great — and I’m sure the fresh foods are helping.
