Greetings Singularitarians,

April has been a very busy month for NuNet. Events that took place include a new Catalyst proposal voting, launches on both the BNB and Cardano blockchains, and the second NTX airdrop to AGIX holders. In this article we will summarize each of these events, in addition to the ever-important development update for the NuNet platform.

Catalyst Fund8 Voting

ADA holders are currently able to vote on Cardano Catalyst Fund8 proposals. NuNet’s proposal, NuNet: Decentralized GPU ML Cloud can be found in the Developer Ecosystem category, at the top of the list. Voting for Fund8 will conclude on May 5th.

BNB Chain Launch

NuNet’s NTX token was launched on the BNB Chain this month. Unbonded staking and yield farming, as well as bridging services, for the token are available on the SingularityDAO app; use the drop-down menu at the top of the page to change from Ethereum to the BSC option. Unbonded NTX staking and NTX/BNB yield farming APR are both over 50% at the time of writing, so users are encouraged to take advantage of this.

Cardano Network Launch

With the release of the ERC20 converter, NTX can now be bridged to and from Ethereum and Cardano, along with SingularityNET’s AGIX token. NTX is available to swap for on the Minswap, SundaeSwap and Wingriders decentralized exchanges. Be sure to check out our recent article on how NuNet will help Cardano stay decentralized for more details of the significance this event will have on the future of NuNet.

Second NTX Airdrop Claim

The second snapshot period for AGIX holdings concluded this month, along with registration for the second NTX airdrop. Qualifying users can now claim their NTX on the registration portal. The snapshot period for the third airdrop will begin June 18th, but users who plan to get the 4th airdrop must continue holding their AGIX tokens on Ethereum at all times; AGIX on Cardano currently cannot be counted toward airdrop eligibility until a reliable system of tracking wallet balances is developed.

NuNet Development Update for April

The full development notes for April were published in an article recently, but we will summarize the main points here. An authentication and identity system is being built, along with communication encryption, to ensure greater security on the platform. A system that scrutinizes images entering containers is being considered to prevent supply-chain attacks. Data in containers will be encrypted so that only the owner can view it, excluding even the compute provider whose device it is running on, to ensure confidentiality. Security will also be bolstered using telemetry authorization, logging facilities and protection against business logic, so that the payment system cannot be compromised. Crowd sourced bug bounties and internal testing are ongoing.

Official Token Addresses

There are some fake/scam tokens being offered on some decentralized exchanges. Always check that a token is authentic using its contract address.
