Here we are, the second attempt (here’s the first one) to do a moving image shot. This time the technique is better shown, but the result is less beautiful!

Trento, 03.10.2016

A fast recap:

  1. Shot a photo to the subject
  2. Shot the movie to the subject while something is happening (in the same exact position of the photo)
  3. Import the video in photoshop as a layer
  4. Set something around 0,02 sec. as time for the frames in the timeline
  5. Then import the photo you shot at the beginning in the project and put it on top of the layers
  6. Allign the photo to the video frames
  7. Now you need to cancel, with the eraser, the portion of the photo where you need to see the animated part (that at this point is right behind the shot)
  8. To finish you just need to export everything as a GIF or a video

I’m not sure if the procedure is clear enough, if not just ask me!

That’s it for today, hope you enjoyed! See you tomorrow!
Every day I post at least one photo from my life. Here’s why.
