Introducing Crypto Fantasy
Markets are fascinating. They seem to follow a trend, but they seldom do. The collective euphoria or the fear of the masses seems predictable, but it rarely is.
The true champions (or the Know all of the Crypto markets) are a rare find.
Everyone would like to become one, but most do not know how to be one. Presenting the battleground of champions — the first core game of One World Nation (OWN) Cryptoverse— Crypto Fantasy. Create a team of 5 Cryptonites which will go up in value, compete and win huge rewards.
Game objective
The objective of the game is to create a winning team of 5 Cryptonites which will gain the maximum number of points within a specified period of time. Points will be awarded to each Cryptonite of the team based on the performance of the underlying crypto in the real world.
For example — If you have a BTC Cryptonite in your team, the points the BTC Cryptonite gains will depend on the price of the BTC coin in the real world. It is a game of skill and financial optimization with a little bit of luck. Put simply, it is as engaging as Catan, yet as rewarding as real world crypto trading.
Leagues
Owning rarer NFTs will give a distinct advantage in the scoring of Crypto fantasy. Rarer the NFT, the more powerful it will be in the gameplay (more details in the next article). Just like in real world football, games will be conducted across different divisions, each with its own set of rules around NFT participation (based on the power/skill level of its participant NFTs).
At launch, the platform will start with the Division 1 (D1) league:
- D1 (Division 1) league — The player can create a team of 5 Cryptonite NFTs with a maximum of 1 Legendary and 2 Epic Cryptonites allowed per team.
Within this league, there will be 1 game daily, starting at 04:30 pm UTC (10:00 pm IST) and ending at 07:30 am UTC (01:00 pm IST) the next day.
Rules of the Game
A. Team Composition
- Each player will need to create a team of 5 Cryptonites as per the rules of the division. So, currently for D1, a player can create a team with a maximum of 1 legendary and 2 epic Cryptonites.
- There is no restriction on selecting a unique clan for each of the 5 Cryptonites selected for a team. For example — A user can decide to create a team of 5 different BTC Cryptonites.
- Just like real world assets, a Cryptonite cannot exist at 2 places at the same time. So, a Cryptonite can uniquely participate in 1 game at a time and cannot participate in other activities on the platform while engaged in the gameplay.
B. Power Ups
Power ups add an interesting dimension to the game strategy. They help players gain advantage by tactfully assigning the powers to the relevant Cryptonites. Each player will be able to use a total of 2 power ups on his team of 5.
- Knight — Making a Cryptonite the Knight will give 100% bonus on the base score of that Cryptonite during the gameplay. For example — If you make a BTC Cryptonite as the Knight of your team and it scores 60 base points (without any rarity or level bonus) during the game, an additional 60 points will be awarded to this Cryptonite in the final score.
- Defender— Defender is a unique power. It is a shield against the ups and downs of the market. Crypto markets are notorious for their volatility. How does one make money during such volatile times? Defender is the magical pill and just like in the real world, the key is to find out the token which will go down the most and take an opposite position on it. Here is how it will work:
Voila, you just made some cool score on a Crypto token whose price was going down.
