Here is a true story of something that happens when you are a hardware company:

We are getting a new round of boards made to do some more user testing with our current design. We added some test points to troubleshoot an issue we were having with our LEDs and made some other changes. Now, in the same week we discovered:

I’ve never been so happy to see something light up.
  1. Our board requires a specific antenna that works with our microprocessor. All of a sudden, when we needed them, everyone was out of this antenna. No explanation, they are just all gone. We had to scour the planet and finally found them in the Czech Republic and now these boards are delayed by a week and a half.
