Aave:

  • The new AMM Liquidity Pool enables liquidity providers (“LPs”) of Uniswap and Balancer to use their LP tokens as collateral in the Aave Protocol.

Compound:

  • Proposal 41 by blck begins the migration of legacy cToken contracts to the latest cToken standard, starting with the WBTC market. If this proposal passes, no immediate action will be required: migrate from the legacy WBTC contract to the latest contract at your own pace. Both markets will function normally. Future governance proposals may restrict, or deprecate, the legacy contract.
  • Proposal 40 to start a program called the Compound Grants Program (“CGP”), which will provide funding to projects, ideas, and events that benefit Compound and its stakeholders, passed on March 14th, 2021.
  • Proposal 39 ‘ZRX, BAT, and WBTC Parameter Update’ passed on March 8th, 2021.

Bancor broke into the top 10 projects by TVL and now generates the fifth highest revenue of any protocol on Ethereum. Meanwhile, development in the core offering is moving faster than ever.

Kyber:

  • Kyber Ecosystem Report #24 (Feb ‘21): Development of Kyber 3.0 is now in full swing and the team has started shipping important components of the upgrade. One such component is the upgrade to the KNC token itself which will vastly expand its role in growing the Kyber Network and this important upgrade is currently being voted on by the KyberDAO. Another important component is the Dynamic Market Maker and the team recently released the DMM Whitepaper which covers how this new model combines Dynamic Fees and preset Amplification Factors to allow for highly optimized and capital efficient market making. This innovation on existing AMMs will improve on impermanent loss and provide increased profitability to LPs and we look forward to the community and LPs participating in such pools. As the team delivers on Katana and Kaizen, the two major phases of the Kyber 3.0 releases (you can read full details here) the next few months include the deployment of various Kyber 3.0 pieces.
