PlayDapp Q1 Milestones Review — 2021
It’s been an incredibly active year so far for the general crypto space. Massive traction in the world of NFT, all-time highs for numerous Cryptos and so much more!
It’s also been an active time for PlayDapp, we’ve had some incredibly important developments. With significant developments for the entire PlayDapp ecosystem. As PlayDapp continues our march onward to the interconnected gaming ecosystem it’s the perfect time to look back at just what we’ve achieved so far this year!
Brand New Partnerships
PlayDapp has been active in securing awesome partnerships. We’ve been delighted to secure an agreement with Ludena Protocol. We’ll be opening the PlayDapp MarkePLAce to Ludena Protocol and its GameTalkTalk service with over 3 million users to the PlayDapp Ecosystem.
The PlayDapp MarketPLAce has also seen some awesome developments, thanks to a partnership with NOD Games. PlayDapp has started supporting the trading of Non-Fungible Token (NFT) items for League of Kingdoms, a blockchain-based Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) strategy game developed by NOD Games.
Awesome new gaming experiences
PlayDapp secured the global IP (Intellectual Property) & Service rights to highly recognized PC MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) ‘ASTA’.
PlayDapp plans to expand its blockchain business by working with Korean and Chinese developers with SuperTree to introduce mobile games ‘ASTA M’ and ‘ASTA Origin’ based on the compelling ‘ASTA’ IP.
Newly introduced “CryptoDozer for LINE Blockchain” utilizes the LINE Blockchain network instead of the Ethereum network, as used by “CryptoDozer”. Using LINE Blockchain allows for significantly faster NFT (Non-Fungible Tokens) creation and no additional gas fee.
CryptoDozer for LINE Blockchain has been live since February 17th, 2021, and has been steadily making progress in the charts. Delivering the core, interconnected experience to Japanese gamers.
The call of the Metaverse
The Metaverse has been taking the non-face-to-face era by storm. As experiences move ever more online, it’s become incredibly important and accessible to everyone.
PlayDapp is paying close attention to the rapid growth of Metaverse-based game platform Roblox and Naver Z’s virtual reality avatar-based social network service ZEPETO.
Moving to secure patents across the scope of blockchain, PlayDapp’s CEO Brian Choi announced a project road map to move forward with work in this exciting area.
PlayDapp’s ambition in the Metaverse isn’t just sat on roadmaps and ideas. PlayDapp is delighted to announce a massive new game experience.
PlayDapp Town (tentative name) is currently being developed based on NFT (Non-Fungible Tokens) and metaverse convergence technology is planned for the first half of the year.
In ‘PlayDapp Town’, NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) acquired from other games will be used as game coupons. Allowing players to decorate game characters or develop them to be used as items necessary for various gaming activities.
