Paraguay taught me how to walk.

I have loved you with a love that was not wholly original.
I have demanded affection, desire, and space, above all, space.
I have, without hesitation, despotically yelled my base,
Yes, my most recondite appetites. Yet, my love wasn’t livable.

I walk from room to room,
Amidst a desire for you,
