About
PoliTechs
At PoliTechs we are curious about the interplay between society and technology. And this is no small matter. If you share this interest with us, then, dear reader, you’ve definitely come to the right place! Welcome to PoliTechs!
Note from the editor

Have you ever looked at your computer and thought: “To think that people managed to get anything done before this marvelous wonder was introduced to the world!”. If so, you’re not alone. We believe that the computer’s impact on the world is revolutionary and that it might even co-define modern society. But one might like to wonder how the computer has changed the world? Or even more interestingly: what intentions were behind it? We are curious about how political factors shape the processes of and are shaped by the development of technology. Curious about legislation and its effects on technological innovation. And we are curious about ethical dilemmas that certain technologies pose. Your experience with this blog might differ depending on your views and opinions — you may feel like we’re dead-on point, you may disagree outrageously or you may think that we present some interesting ideas. And this is exactly our goal. We don’t declare ourselves objective experts on any of the matters presented on this blog. We offer one (or more) of many views as a contribution to the, at least to us, very important debate on technological change in a highly political and social world.
