In the area of Portsmouth, the crisis of homelessness has worsened and according to ‘The News 2016’, “in Portsmouth, the number of people sleeping rough has trebled”.
Portsmouth is home to over 296,000 people. Yet in 2019, 23 homeless people died on these streets.
