PowerAgent V2 Sepolia testnet

The PowerAgent’s Sepolia testnet has been operating for almost five months. During this time, we have found and fixed multiple bugs, delivered code updates, and fixed several abuse mechanics. Also, PowerAgent UX was greatly improved for easy Keepers/Jobs launch and monitoring.

PowerPool will continue operating on the Sepolia testnet to continuously support the codebase and test new tech updates.

Sepolia Keepers will be incentivized with regular $CVP airdrops.

The new round of rewards for Sepolia testers has been distributed. Taking into account the feedback and suggestions from our major contributors, PowerPool has devised a rewards mechanic to fairly compensate our testers for testnet participation expenses and provide additional rewards to the most active contributors. PowerAgent v2 code and UI updates

A new update for the PowerAgent node has gone live. It includes some long-awaited fixes and alleviates issues with excessive slashing of Keepers. We believe this version of PowerAgent is mainnet-worthy as it demonstrates extreme stability and superiority in terms of economic viability for Keepers.

The PowerAgent node updates changelog:

Added a point conditions guard for Resolver Jobs
Details of active Jobs are requested in batches
Config changes for the new Agent contract
Gnosis Chain added to config constants
Added the APP_ENV variable for the installation environment

A new Agent contract was deployed. It uses a new test token for staking and will allow us to gather fresh statistics for the latest version of PowerAgent.

The Agent contract changelog:

Automatic deactivation for Keepers whose stakes fall below the minimal stake
Newly registered Keepers are initially deactivated by default
Keepers can be activated immediately after registration

Additionally, we updated the PowerAgent dApp UI.

Gnosis Alpha mainnet

The three-step plan for PowerAgent’s launch on Gnosis Chain has been presented: Pre-mainnet validators gathering, mainnet launch, and mainnet expansion. Read more about PowerPool’s roadmap for Gnosis here.

Right now, PowerAgent’s test contract has already been deployed on Gnosis Chain. PowerPool’s DAO contributors are performing the required preliminary tests. Soon we will begin onboarding Gnosis validators and active Sepolia testers to the Alpha mainnet.

PowerPool invites Gnosis validators to join the PowerAgent network. We will be distributing the CVP stake required for launching a Keeper on the mainnet via PowerPool node runner grants. You can find more details in our previous article.

PowerPool Builder Grants

Powerpool has partnered with Gitcoin Grants Stack to provide direct grants to developers building on top of PowerAgent in a streamlined and efficient way. The DAOism team will become the first grant recipient to receive funds via Gitcoin. Gitcoin shares PowerPool’s values and perfectly aligns with our vision for transparency, decentralization, and ecosystem expansion.

Community activities

PowerPool held its 3rd Community AMA session on October 6. Our chief strategist — Gordon Gekko and head of research — Vasily Sumanov talked about PowerPool’s vision for the future of automated web3, the current state of PowerAgent, recent achievements, and answered questions from the community. 50 winners were randomly chosen among AMA participants and received 250 USDT and NFT rewards. Follow PowerPool on Galxe and stay tuned to upcoming events!

We hosted a joint PowerPool X ChainStack AMA session and discussed both of our latest developments, smart contract automation networks, low-latency infrastructure for blockchains, and more. The RPC access provided by ChainStack was the main topic discussed for future collaboration.

PowerPool was featured in the Gnosis Chain weekly newsletter. We are grateful for the shoutout and are thrilled to begin our journey of automating DeFi starting from Gnosis Chain.
