I’ve constantly wanted more both worldly and religiously, feeling like things don’t make sense and that I must be missing some piece of the puzzle. I’ve always tried to figure out what the spiritual connection the sahaba and Muslims during the Golden Age of Islam had that I/we don’t. We have a tremendous amount of religious knowledge already, however, we lack concrete examples, advice and tips on how to incorporate this knowlage into our daily life. The journey I’ve been on for the last 5 years to reconcile the two has lead me to some liberating realizations. This blog outlines those learnings and gaps that I’ve filled in, which have allowed me to practically apply Islam in my everyday life. I invite you to join me, share with me, and grow with me so that we can raise ourselves to be the leaders at the forfront of every feild. I believe that the practical implementation of Islamic teaching will usher in the next Golden Age of Islam. I believe that Islam and Muslims have the solutions to all of today’s problems. I’m commited to building and supporting ambitious projects, companies and movements to do that. I want to change the world and I’m looking for others who want to as well.
