Trolling Trumpelstiltskin 
can’t stop hitting send.
Tweeting about buttons.
“Mine’s the biggest one!”
Millions at risk now.
Hey, it’s all in fun.

A nation regresses
Turns back its successes 
Promotes its excesses
From good it digresses

A charlatan rises
Mocks those he despises
Deceives and disguises
Mischaracterizes

On bended knee

When I was a child my parents taught me
To humble myself and pray on my knee.
A reverent position for supplicant love
Surrendering all to our God up above.
