I can’t decide if my daughter is more “Papa [I] Don’t Take No Mess” or “I Got Ants In My Pants (And I Want To Dance)” or just “Super Bad.” Whichever James Brown funk it is, she was certainly an object in motion this week. Here are some of her best lines from the last seven (“nemen”) days.

Whether or not in motion, my daughter certainly is a force; one to be reckoned with. She’s a great kid, but when she knows what she wants, it is hard to change her mind. She is strong-willed, determined and will let you know “The way I like it, is the way it is.” I wouldn’t have it any other way. It may be my world, but “it would be nothing, nothing!, without a woman or a girl.”
