Celebrating One Year of Quiller + Our Impact

Today marks one year since we launched Quiller, and what a journey it’s been! We’re proud of how our AI co-pilot has helped people across the social impact space raise more money faster, create content more easily, and free up time for other important priorities.

It’s amazing to think that just one year ago, our space had no AI content tool specifically trained to meet the unique content needs of political campaigns and nonprofit organizations. There has been such a powerful year of growth, experimentation, adoption, and creation of policies and norms that help progressive organizations confidently utilize this powerful new technology. Now, AI is everywhere — and we couldn’t be happier to be building Quiller in lock step with our amazing partners.

From nonprofit workers to Democratic campaign staff, Quiller users have created thousands of pieces of content to raise money, move the media, and mobilize voters.

Here’s a snapshot of our year:

  • Launched 7 content-generators, allowing teams to create unlimited customized drafts of fundraising emails, SMS, digital ad copy, op-eds, voter contact scripts and press releases;
  • Received several special awards, including Best New AI Tool (2024 Reed Awards), Best Fundraising Technology (AAPC Pollies), and Startup of the Year (2023, Campaigns & Elections), and SXSW Pitch;
  • Integrated Quiller with Google Docs and top CRMs, including ActionKit, EveryAction/NGP VAN, and Action Network; and launched an API
  • Presented at dozens of virtual and in-person trainings to reach hundreds of people to discuss responsible AI and ‘rules of the road’ for AI adoption approaches that match the progressive values we share.
  • Expanded our product to offer editing and drafting support features like Email Rewrites and Email Review and Improve — with more to come!
  • Most Importantly: We started to see real results for our partners. Quiller helps our clients raise more money, faster — and we have the case studies to prove it! For example, Patti Minter’s mayoral campaign saw nearly a 4x improvement on dollars raised per minute spent on their email program: they went from $8.33 to $22.22 raised per minute spent.

Our clients have seen remarkable results.

As Conor Heffernan, Deputy Director of Democratic Municipal Officials, said: “Our small-dollar fundraising program could not function the way it does without Quiller. Their AI Co-pilot has single-handedly made it possible for our small staff to operate the fundraising program of an organization twice or three times its size.”

Looking ahead, we’re excited about the new possibilities to expand our reach and our important, starting with our API-based partnerships. Our API can bring a Quiller button directly into CRMs, making it even easier for campaigns and organizations to write and send emails to supporters.
