The Sea Dogs have a chance to play spoilers in this series…Reading holds a two-game lead over the New Britain Rock Cats for the final playoff spot in the Eastern League…The Rock Cats are home tonight against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.

Wrapping up the season

The Sea Dogs can clinch the best home record as a Red Sox affiliate (since 2003) with a win this afternoon against the Reading Phillies in the season-season finale.

What a great season!

The Sea Dogs finished in fourth place in the Eastern Division, and completely turned around their season that saw them 36–54 at the All-Star Break.

Portland finished the season 32–19 and won or split eight straight series at Hadlock Field.
