It is becoming increasingly obvious that nothing makes sense any more. The old answers no longer satisfy. The old authorities can no longer be relied upon. This publication is dedicated to a collaborative effort in making sense out of this very confusing historical moment. People are waking up everywhere and beginning to ask new questions. Social media is teeming with fresh ideas, novel analyses, out-of-the-box insights. On places like Facebook, these ideas are ephemera. By creating this platform, we hope to give these ideas — we’re calling them “artifacts” — more permanence. We’re actively looking for writers, podcasters, vloggers, filmmakers, cartoonists, graphic novel artists, historians, anthropologists, book and movie reviewers, or anyone who has something novel and provocative to say about the Age of Variance, the Trump Insurgency, the Blue Church, the Red Religion, and the rainbow assortment of meaningful solutions.
