We are what we repeatedly do. I’m re-inventing myself by improving in 15 areas at a time.

This post is part of my Re Human project.

Daily Habits

Books: Today I started The Elements of Eloquence. Also hopped around several of my Kindle books on ipad, like Your True Home, Be Slightly Evil, Design Your Work, The On-Purpose Person. Some notes from Elements of Eloquence:

Tip from what Shakespeare did: steal.

Alliteration makes things sound poetic and memorable.

You can transform even boring words into the most famous movie line of all time, through wording. “My name is Bond, James Bond.”

Meditation: 20minutes in the morning.

Digital Drawing: Today I continued watching the vitruvian course lesson on “Finding the features”, and applied what I’m learning to the portrait of my girlfriend:

yesterday, today, and the picture I’m aiming for

Piano: Today I practiced Ludovico Einaudi’s I Giorni in Flowkey. Integrated right hand and left hand together.

Re Human Dynamic Activity: Wednesdays I Dance.

Kept practicing the Heel Toe move — I think I got it now.

And started learning this one — it’s feeling hard but it looks soo cool:

Writing: This post, journaling (day and night), and a daily thought in the middle of the day on my phone. I think that’s a cool habit — instead of one of the many social media/email checks of the day, make one of them writing time. No need to be on a computer to write. We “write” on phones all the time!

Fitness: Today I went again as hard as I could at the beginning of the workout on chin ups. Recorded myself for the 60 seconds (trying to beat the Guinnes world record, which is 57), and got 50. 2 more than 2 days ago!!! At this pace I’ll get it in 10 more days… (yeah right haha). Today at the 40 mark I hopped off the bar to rest for some seconds and hopped back again, then hopped back of almost at the very end, and hopped back on. I think this is a good trick that actually helped me get more in those 60 seconds.

Soccer trick juggling: Practicing to get two consecutive around the worlds or hop the worlds in a row. Today I also tried hop the world with my left leg. Much harder — haven’t gotten it yet. But I think that would be pretty useful to do two hop the worlds in a row.

Random Surprise

interesting, fresh article I’ve seen recommended various times on Twitter and my friend also recommended it — started reading it today and so far it’s pretty good but it’s also pretty long:
