We are what we repeatedly do. I’m reinventing myself by improving in 15 areas at a time.

This process post is part of my Re Human project.

Writing publicly changes your life.

I’ve experienced many internal and external changes in my life coming from the simple act of writing every day.

I started journaling daily almost 2 years ago — I kept my journal private. I still do. I still journal every day with some prompts that help me automatically think about the things I want to be thinking, in the mood I want.

And 119 days ago, I added a public trail to my writing and thoughts.

There are a few activities that earn their claim to be “life-changing”. Both of these ways of writing have earned that claim for me.

I’m very inspired by a couple of friends that have started their own Re Human-style projects.

Check out their pages!

Abhinaya Konduru is a VC in Chicago who seems awesome and is exploring 7 interests of hers, including Data Visualizations and applying ML to create art!

Jeremy Batchelder recently started his — always love my conversations with him, super thoughtful friend.

Linda Chang has been exploring 10 of her interests — I’ve been mind-blown by how good she is at drawing.

Some highlights of my week related to Re Human were:

  • going to Salsa class with my girlfriend who is visiting
  • finishing my realistic eye drawing
  • practicing a new song on piano, comptine d’un autre été.
  • I feel like everything is a highlight, obviously can’t put everything, but generally very grateful for and motivated about working on my startup, meditating, and living how I want to be living.
