This is an independent investigative series by the crowdfunded journalism project INSURGEintelligence. The project was commissioned by the UK hate crime charity Tell MAMA to investigate the network dynamics of far-right extremism in Europe and its impacts. The project maps the trans-Atlantic connections and core ideology of what is now a truly global web of Nazi political power. In June 2016, Labour MP Jo Cox was slated to launch Tell MAMA’s annual report on anti-Muslim hatred in parliament. Of course, due to her untimely and tragic murder on Thursday, 16 June, this was not to be. In the spirit of the values she stood for, and in solidarity with her family, friends and supporters of all political affiliations and none, INSURGEintelligence and Tell MAMA proudly dedicate this project to Jo Cox and her indefatiguable struggle against hatred and bigotry in all its forms.
