Because we do not claim to be a publication, we do not represent the thoughts and beliefs of our writers, nor do we claim legal obligation for our writers. Our unpaid editorial staff is comprised of higher-profile freelance journalists in the area, but does not regulate the work of our contributors. Our editors exist strictly to uphold our editorial values, which are: an emphasis on due diligence and factually-accurate reporting, a disavowing of any form of hate/bigotry, and adherence to general principles of journalistic ethics. Our editors are not gatekeepers, and therefore have no control over what stories get published.
