Announcing the upcoming LAND Presale round 4.2, starting on September 15th 2020 at 11AM GMT.

More than $1,500,000 worth of LAND NFTs have already been sold. Our latest sale launched and sold out on August 4th in under 2 hours. For the second round of Presale 4, we’re excited to introduce $SAND as the exclusive method of payment for LAND NFTs. Following our recent exchange offering on Binance Launchpad (the exclusive token launch platform for transformative blockchain projects) and then the subsequent listing on Binance.com, $SAND tokens will be put to use in this presale round to demonstrate its first application as a medium of exchange within The Sandbox virtual world (ETH or DAI will no longer be accepted to acquire LAND as of now).

What is LAND in The Sandbox?

LANDS are digital pieces of real estate in The Sandbox metaverse that players can buy to build experiences on top of. Once you own a LAND, you will be able to populate it with Games and Assets. Each LAND is a unique (non-fungible) token lying on the public Ethereum blockchain (ERC-721). For more detailed information on LAND tokens, read, this article. The LAND Presale 4 rounds will be the last presales to take place before the launch of the public round at the end of the year. Presale 4.2 will take place in multiple intervals similar to the MoonSale, consisting of multiple batches with a total of 4,536 parcels of LANDS up for grabs.

All rounds in the fourth presale will remain at a 10% Discount.

In addition to this exclusive presale, this round introduces new and rare ASSETS, NFT characteristics, and new partners!

Similar to the first round, special LANDs will be sold in the form of Premium LAND, which will also include Premium ASSETS.

What are Premium LANDS?

A Premium LAND is a single parcel of LAND that features specific characteristics, including Premium ASSETS. They will appear as Yellow LANDS on the map and are defined by two main characteristics:

Premium Location: Each Premium LAND is located close to either a Partner, an IP, or a TSB Estate. These locations are highly likely to attract more visitors thanks to partner visibility as well as the Transportation System and the recently introduced Portals.

Premium ASSETS: Premium LANDs are pre-assigned with a bundle of exclusive ASSETS to kickstart game creation. When purchasing a Premium LAND, buyers will also receive 4 premium ASSETS.

More information will be provided on the specific Premium ASSETS to be featured in Premium LANDS. We can not wait to share this information!

Each Premium LAND includes 1 Common, 1 Rare, 1 Epic and 1 Legendary Premium ASSET. Each Legendary ASSET will showcase a unique set of attributes, behavior, and skins, all of which have a limited scarcity of 200 copies.

The Sandbox Foundation Revenue shares on LAND sales

26.25% of LAND Sales revenues go directly to The Sandbox Foundation (and can be also reallocated to the Staking Pool)

The Foundation supports the ecosystem growth, offering grants to incentivize high quality content and game production on the platform. At the time of writing, the Foundation has funded more than15 game projects and granted 100 artists with funding to produce NFTs.

The allocation of LAND sales to the Foundation offers a sustainable model in which the grants pool is replenished with all remaining rounds. As a game creator, this means that The Sandbox will continue to fund its community as we build out the infrastructure for a more distributed ecosystem.

An additional portion of LAND sales revenue will go to the Staking Pool, to be distributed as Staking Rewards in mechanisms to be announced in the near future.

How to get $SAND

There will be many ways for users to purchase $SAND to buy LAND during this upcoming round of presale. $SAND is currently available on Binance and Uniswap 🦄

1. Buying $SAND (on Binance)

$SAND tokens have been listed on Binance.com since August 14th. Several pairs are available for trades SAND/BTC, SAND/USDT, SAND/BNB and SAND/BUSD which you can all see directly on their website: https://www.binance.com/en/trade/SAND_BTC

To begin your purchase of $SAND tokens on the Binance Platform (www.binance.com) you can follow the steps;

1. Go to the top of the Binance Home Page and select the buy crypto option.

2. Select the currency of your choice.

3. Choose the amount of FIAT currency you want to trade to begin your crypto purchase.

4. Then, choose the crypto-currency you want to purchase and confirm all the information required. (You can purchase $SAND with BTC, USDT or BNB)

5. For various FIAT currencies, there are different supported payment methods. Hence, you would be required to choose accordingly.

If you wish to buy crypto by adding your bank card or using the balance in your Binance wallet, you must confirm the identification process.
If you select the balance in your Binance Cash Wallet, you will just have to choose the payment method and you will be guided to deposit your fiat currency first. After you click the button, the final confirmation window will appear.

6.Once you purchased BTC, USDT or BNB; go to “Trade”, and select “Classic”

Select the pair depending on your crypto holdings (SAND/BTC, SAND/BNB, SAND/USDT)

2. Buying $SAND on Uniswap 🦄

If you have ETH or DAI, you can easily swap (exchange) them for $SAND tokens on these exchanges or on Uniswap for example.
