The Sandbox LAND presale will go live on Wednesday, December 5th at 1PM GMT, offering you a limited opportunity to purchase LANDS at significant discounts.
The Sandbox is a decentralized gaming platform where players, gamers, and creators can design and monetize their user-generated content on the blockchain.
After more than a year of intense product development by our talented team, we are pleased to announce the next big step for The Sandbox — the first opportunity to purchase LAND through our LAND Presale.
LANDS are scarce and unique tokens (NFT) that are basically plots of digital space in The Sandbox, which will enable their owners to create, monetize, and play games. Our metaverse will be limited to only 166,464 LANDS, so this presale allows you to become early adopters of this rare commodity.
This LAND Presale will be your first chance to obtain a piece of our metaverse, at a very favorable price. During the 15-day event, you will be allowed to buy LAND with ETH.

What is a LAND?
A LAND is a digital piece of real estate in The Sandbox metaverse.
In a nutshell LAND ownership will allow you to:
- Participate in gameplays in The Sandbox
- Host games or experiences on your LAND
- Monetize your LAND by hosting gameplay or renting it
- Organize contests and events on your LAND
- Participate in The Sandbox metaverse governance

LAND Presale
The Sandbox LAND presale is the first of five consecutive rounds of LAND sales.
Each of our LAND sale rounds will feature a sliding percentage discount scale. This first sale offers the best discount at 40% and the discounts on LAND parcels will decrease by 10% per round until the release of our public round, which will last until all LANDS are sold.
In this first round presale event, you will be permitted to buy LANDS from a total of 3,096 LAND parcels, corresponding to 1.86% of the total LAND supply (166,464), at a discount of 40%.
Starting December 4th, the LAND presale will last 15 days.
You will have the ability to choose from different sizes of LANDS from The Sandbox metaverse.
A single LAND contains 96 blocks of terrain for its depth and width plus 128 blocks of height. You can also buy multiple LANDS to form ESTATES.
Buying an ESTATE will provide you with an additional discount; the bigger the ESTATE, the bigger the discount.
Here is how it works:
- LAND: A single LAND parcel with no discount attached.
- ESTATE (S): A combination of 9 LAND parcels that offers a 5% discount per parcel.
- ESTATE (M): A combination of 36 LAND parcels that offers a 10% discount per parcel.
- ESTATE (L): A combination of 144 LAND parcels that offers a 15% discount per parcel.
- ESTATE (XL): A combination of 576 LAND parcels that offers a 20% discount per parcel.
In addition to the discounted price for each of the parcels that comes with the ESTATES, you’ll be provided with a huge in-game terrain that can be used to create amazing game experiences and dioramas by you, your friends or talented game creators that you will be able to rent your LAND to.

How to buy a LAND?
To buy a LAND, you will need to follow these 3easy steps:
1. Setup your wallet (Bitski or Metamask)
2. Buy ETH (Coinbase, Kraken or else)
3. Buy LAND on the map [from December 4th]

- The LAND map on which you will be able to buy your LAND, LANDS, ESTATE (S, M, L, XL), or ESTATES from the available supply.

During the LAND Presale, we will conduct an exclusive sale of ASSETS (NFTs).

Following the production of hundreds of amazing voxel ASSETS that will later become available as NFTs on our marketplace, we have selected the best voxel productions from five of the artists behind the creator fund. These assets will have different rarities and attributes, and will be uploaded directly from the artist’s account.
Artists will directly benefit from these ASSETS sales.
The selection of assets is meant to provide amazing aesthetics that you will be able to add in you LAND without leaving behind the utilities that you can give them in any game experience.
These assets will be available to buy only with ETH as well, just as we have available for the LAND.
