When it comes to sex, your mind is more important than your age
The old saying tells us that just because there’s snow on the roof doesn’t mean there’s no fire in the furnace. And the amount of fire in that furnace, as well as the quality of the sex we have as we get older, is linked to how old we feel, not how old we are.

Researchers at the University of Waterloo looked at data from the Midlife in the United States longitudinal health study — which was conducted between 1995 and 2005 — in order to find out what people from their mid-40s to mid-70s thought about the sex they were having. After reviewing the responses of 1,170 study participants, researchers found that the more people felt their chronological age, the less satisfaction they reported in their sex lives. The conclusion researchers came to, which was published in The Journal of Sex Research, is that when it comes to sex, we should continue to think young — no matter what our actual age is.
“What was clear from the data is that feeling younger had a huge impact on how people felt about the quality of their sex life and how interested they were in having sex,” said researcher…
