First month journey of “Online Career Counseling” Startup
Full of challenges but yet a lot of learning too!!

I am a little excited to share my feelings. As Finally, Sharing is Caring team has spent few weeks on it’s startup. Almost 2 to 3 weeks ago, I posted a blog here at medium. That blog contains plans regarding our startup. Hope so you have read that blog. If not, then please give that blog a few of your minutes, so that you can know what our plans were regarding our startup and what we have accomplished and what future plans we have.
So, let’s start with what our plans were. Our plans were to guide students in taking career decisions.
And our efforts were planned to be online as now-a-days, world is shifting towards online platforms and any information is just one click away from us. So, we thought of writing quality blogs and making interesting yet informative videos for students. So that they must be aware about their field before jumping into that field.
Luckily, our team has professionals from different fields, so we can provide variety of information to students. So we thought of #juststart with blogging and videos.
And all of our planned effort must start as a team so that each team member will collaborate with one another in not only maintaining quality of our content but also to work on publicity of blogs/videos so that maximum no. of students will be able to reach our content and get benefit from it.
We created Medium Publication Page so that we will publish our blogs at that page. And similarly, we created a Youtube Channel in order to share our videos there. And alongwith them, we created pages on different social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook for publicity of our blogs as well as videos.
Now before all that, we designed the profile picture as well as cover picture. As they are essential to be published at each platform pages and they are real identity of Sharing is Caring team. And here are both of them.
Now, after all that, we assigned every team member to handle at least one social media platform , so that we can reach maximum no. of people as soon as possible. And after that, we first started from blogging related to importance of career counseling and mental awareness (You can find those blogs on our Medium Page) and then our team started to work on video script to let the people know what our plans are in the form of video. After a lot of efforts on video script and then video editing, we shared it on our Youtube Channel.

And the thing which i love the most in this video is that while writing the script of this video, an idea clicked in the mind of one of our member. That idea was to include the professionals in our team. As blogging is done by alot of professionals and they can do it for benefit of others. So why not invite the professionals to join us and collaborate with us in order to help more and more students. So, at the end of that video, we made an announcement so that any professional who wants to help students can email us his/her blog and we will share it on our page.
And believe me or not, this idea enhanced our startup plan a lot much, as after watching the video, many professionals although they are our classfellows or friends promised to write blog related to their field, so that students who want to choose their field will get enough knowledge before diving in that field.
One of our team member covered the Medical Fields and wrote a blog after a deep research in all medical fields. One member made a video to cover the content for Software Engineering students. Similarly, efforts are made by other members of team too. One is covering Chemistry background, one is covering Psychology and one is focussing on Arts background. In upcoming month, you’ll see those blogs on our medium page too. And similarly, our team will cover other educational fields too by either blogging or videos.
The main challenge which our team faced in the last weeks was from where to find the motivation for work. We were struggling a lot to find the strength and motivation to help the students. Then we thought of our own lives when we needed someone’s help, and also about the reward which ALLAH give to those few who help others.
We can’t help everyone, but everyone can help someone!!
And i also wanna thank to the support which you guys give to our idea and appreciate our plans which we mentioned in our first video.
We will continue our work in future as problems are increasing day by day and by online platforms, we can help a lot of people. So we will continue to do it by blogging and video making.
And INSHAALLAH, network of Sharing is Caring will continue to grow day by day.
