  1. Ask people who are watching to follow you. Indicate your audience how to do so. Repeat this instructions several times, since people might be coming and going to your broadcast.
  2. Tell people that by following you they’ll get notifications on your future broadcasts.
  3. Ask people to follow you on Twitter. Tell your audience they can do so without leaving your Periscope broadcast!
  4. Keep it moving. Don’t be static. People that watch you expect something to happen.
  5. Foster engagement. Ask people to tap on the screen if they like what they’re seeing, and to comment on what you’re doing (even if some in your audience are already doing so).
  6. Ask and comment on what your audience’s answers.
  7. Thank people for their hearts and sharing, commenting, watching.
