Unfortunately, Hyrule Clan II has gone the way of its sister team, the original Hyrule Clan, as the team has dissolved. However, it should be noted that this team as a whole has had a strong impact in the French scene throughout their Splatoon careers.

As a whole the team have been struggling in Season 2, but they have been able to snag respectable placements in the larger French events. Unfortunately at this time, many of the other mid-tier French teams have already surpassed them.

The members of the team have already moved on to greener pastures, but the legacy of the Hyrule Clan will live on through the members’ efforts.

aRz didn’t have a strong start in the Splatoon 2 scene, with multiple low finishes in premier Japanese events. However, found their first bit of success with one of the largest tournaments in the scene: the SplaCS Winter 2018. It took three tries, however, before they were finally able to qualify via the WFB Cup Qualifiers. From there they were able to impress, nabbing and Top 8 finish out of 122 teams.

In general, the team mostly only competes in Turf Wars or Splat Zones events, and every time they compete, the further they are able to climb.

There is a special strength to German teams, as many of them have been found success in recent months. Xiller is one of them. Starting in January, the team began to make their way through the usual circuit of events. Then, they entered Young Ink 6 and qualified for the S+ division. After a strong 3rd place finish, the team would go on to find successes in small places, such as winning the Underground Brackets at the Sendou Series of tournaments.

One of the best things about talking about these kind of teams is their future potential, and the importance of encouraging competition for newer teams. Xiller has a bright future ahead of them, and are sure to grow into a true European powerhouse.

Season 2 has been a real treat for EnviZion. Early on in the season, the team had been quietly stacking up small tournament victories before suddenly finding themselves with strong matchups against their fellow North American rivals.

Outside of the weekly events, EnviZion have been struggling against the top tier teams. Their biggest achievement in a stacked event was in SqSS January, where they were able to finish at a respectable 9th place. Through this, they have shown their ability to stand toe-to-toe with strong teams, and continue to fight their way through the competition.

The Young Ink series is a personal favorite due to their ability to introduce new teams into the competitive sphere. One such team is Seafood Sorbet, who has had strong finishes in the S+ divisions of the series. Right after their second-place finish in Young Ink 5, Seafood Sorbet went on to take the gold in the Annaki Division of LUTI.

Slowly but surely, teams such as Seafood Sorbet may soon stand with the likes of the top teams that define the scene. But for now, the team has found a good place in the competitive scene and a strong drive to go further beyond.
