Jackie Zabel and Bryce Zabel won the WGA award for their four hour limited series, “Pandemic,” that’s currently streaming from Amazon, YouTube and other sources. Bryce has created five primetime hour dramas, worked on a dozen writing staffs, been CEO of the TV Academy and reported on-air for CNN. Jackie started in TV news, writing for KCBS Los Angeles and doing medical reporting for the network. The Zabels were the original writers on “Atlantis: The Lost Empire” for Disney. Their feature film about the last battle of WWII in Europe— “The Last Battle” — is scheduled for production by Endurance Media in 2021 in Europe. Their most recent pilots include “Captured” (2021) and “No City for Angels” (2020). In the UFO and extraterrestrial space, Bryce is the co-creator of NBC’s “Dark Skies,” the co-author of the critically praised non-fiction book “A.D. After Disclosure“ and editor of the Medium publication “Trail of the Saucers.” His Breakpoint alternate history book series is the only two-time winner in the history of the prestigious Sidewise Award for Alternate History for its novels about the Kennedy assassination and the break-up of The Beatles.
