One thing I think is very beneficial to teamwork is your preparedness. You need to come ready.

I think that the more prepared you are prior to working with your teammates, the more productive you will be.

We need to understand that one of the major keys to being a good team member is to not only make yourself be productive, but make your team be productive as a whole. It is very easy for teamwork to fail, and ultimately just be a complete waste of time.
