The month of March was filled to the brim with excitement and adventure in my pursuit of the theme of faith. I have been a strong Christian for about a year now, but this past month was especially important for my growth with God.

When Showing Up Is Not Enough

For a good part of my high school days and even into college I strongly believed in the Woody Allen quote: “80% of life is just showing up.”

Showing up means being there, attending the meetings and events we are supposed to.

There’s this YouTube video that I love that has inspiring quotes from interviews with actor Will Smith. Here we often see inhabitants of Hollywood as one dimensional, but Smith is the polar opposite. He has depth — thought-provoking, wisdom-seeking, unmatched determination — depth.
