Identity: I was —
in the room of white,
white walls, white floors and white ceilings
that seemed far away, too far to end —
and in this infinity I searched
for another,

for something that compared to me,
but I came up without

this other, I couldn’t self define
and in this abject state of non definition,
in the absence of everything,
how could I be? —
a shore in the absence of sea;

but even if there was a outside
to the room of white,
if I was, and in this infinity
there are others,
I will only know what I am not:

a only rock is not the sand in which it is sunk,
not the grass behind or water in front,
nor the cliffs rising miles later on either side,
and in this lonely knowledge, persist!
Who? Me? I am not.

Poetic Definitions:
1) Hallucinations
2) Identity
3) Ennui
