About
The Dock on the Bay
A home port for those who are multi-genrelational (sic) in their writing, lifestyles and thinking. Itinerants, hobos and sailors are welcome, but don’t expect food, drink or money. And don’t expect many views either — after all, you’re off course, of course. Tie up here!

A home port for those who are multi-genrelational (sic) in their writing, lifestyles and thinking. Itinerants, hobos and sailors are welcome, but don’t expect food, drink or money. And don’t expect many views either — after all, you’re off course, of course! If really you want to anchor a story here then email me your Medium handle and I’ll add you as a writer. Please note that stories in this anchorage should be properly formatted and grammatically reasonable — check the Medium guidelines; images should be attributed. Please take politics and religion to other places. Tag your stories carefully — this dock like stories that are relevant to its audience: people who wander, have off-beat experiences, face natural challenges, may even prefer their own company, enjoy writing — and reading. The best tags here are Writing, Reading, Humor, Travel, True Story. If your story is really un-classifiable then you can always use Miscellaneous which will show under the ‘Ecletera’ tab. Note: The Dockmaster is cranky and does not undertake to find an anchorage for any or all stories — this dock may be scruffy but we do have standards. On the other hand, clothes are optional.
