We all know biology research is extraordinarily complex — it only takes reading (or attempting to read) a few papers to know that. Like anything, it does get easier with practice, but jumping straight into a paper with a title like: “Comprehensive Multi-omics Analysis Reveals Mitochondrial Stress as a Central Biological Hub for Spaceflight Impact” (an article from a recent issue of Cell ) is still daunting. This challenge inspired the creation of the online Eta Zeta Biology Journal. Our journal aims to be a place where students (writers and readers alike) can dip their toes into the world of bio research in a non-overwhelming way. There’s a lot more to say…but I already wrote a “What is Eta Zeta?” article with more details. We hope you enjoy our publication!
