HiT — an interdisciplinary journal that publishes papers on a rolling basis — is a digital platform to discuss the effects of the humanities being in a constant state of change.
Note from the editor
A forum for humanists. We seek authors with a broad vision, who write with clarity about the films, TV shows, Podcasts, music videos, etc. that they love. Our authors have a firm grounding in tradition, but with an eye to the future. Please send all initial proposals to: humanitiesintransition@protonmail.com. If your proposal is accepted, we will contact you. Submission types: • Articles: research, opinion; always with Works Cited. • Must be written clearly with the aim and scope of the journal in mind. • Criticism and theory should not be unnecessarily jargon-laden. • This journal is intended for a broad readership. • Don’t assume that your readers know the definitions of technical terms. • Be sure to read the newest call for papers carefully. These are posted on the Penn CFP site. • Photography (with captions or annotations) • Short stories. (Should be relevant to the journal theme, which changes issue by issue). • Please send proposal first before sending photos or short stories.
