About
The JobUp
A work-readiness accelerator for immigrant professionals who want good jobs for their credentials. The JobUp promotes their full socio-occupational inclusion in the USA
Note from the editor

The JobUp is a work-readiness accelerator for internationally trained &/or educated newcomers to the U.S., especially Italians. I’m Tiziana Rinaldi, the founder. My mission is to equip immigrants with the knowledge and the mentoring they need to secure fulfilling employment in the U.S. and develop their full potential as new Americans. I started this Medium publication at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY where I earned a Master’s in Engagement Journalism and launched The JobUp. The program is now a full-fledged continuing education course. Further credentials: The JobUp is part of the Global Talent Leadership Network at World Education Services (WES), and is featured by WES in its U.S. Program Map. The JobUp was recognized by the Consiglio Generale degli Italiani all’Estero (CGIE) in “Progetti, idee, ideali di cittadini italiani nel mondo,” a collection of 12 stories of Italian immigrants around the globe, narrating how we express ideas and passions that help our communities and build bridges with others. You can reach me at Tiziana.Rinaldi@journalism.cuny.edu.
