A while back, we introduced you to some of the key members of the BitGuild team. We have since grown quite a bit, and we would like to take a minute to introduce to you our various teams. Together, we are all working hard to make BitGuild the greatest blockchain gaming platform available.

Engineering Team

Mikhail’s engineering team is at the center of it all, pushing this giant machine forward through brilliant and cutting edge technical capability across the board. But he’s not doing it alone — meet a few of the highly talented individuals doing a lot of the heavy lifting.

Jeff is the engineering manager responsible for the BitGuild Portal. Prior to BitGuild, Jeff worked at consumer internet companies such as Vevo, Tagged, and PayPal. While at Tagged, Jeff helped develop social games for their platform and is excited to be in the gaming space once again.

Calvin is a full stack engineer at BitGuild and responsible for implementing smart contracts and features for the BitGuild Portal. Before his work at BitGuild, he co-founded a game studio and created two titles with over 12 million users. With passions in both blockchain and gaming, he wants to help make BitGuild a great portal for both developers and gamers alike.

Shain is also a full stack engineer and is building user interfaces at BitGuild. Prior to joining us, Shain was involved in cyber-security and health-tech startups in Silicon Valley. He believes BitGuild is the future of crypto gaming, and is excited to engineer it forward.

Without these guys, there’s no product for us to design, and no all-encompassing website for you all to enjoy your favorite cryptogames from — BitGuild starts here.

Art & Design Team

It’s a marvel what the sharp minds on the engineering team are able to produce. While they are hard at work on the continued development of BitGuild, let’s take a second to introduce the team that locks down the look and feel of both the website, and our upcoming 1st party game: Bitizens!

Both Ani and Darren are design wizards, pumping out design after design of elegant images, web layouts, event banners, icons, and pretty much any other graphical material BitGuild requires on a day-to-day basis. You’ll find their work featured on the website itself in the form of — well, of the website itself! It’s also present on almost every single one of our blog post images on The Notice Board, creating a cohesive and recognizable visual experience. We believe branding is extremely important, and these two have got it on lockdown.

In contrast, we have a large team of dedicated artists and game developers working hard on the game design side of things. As you may have caught previously either here, or here, we’ve been detailing the journey of designing Bitizens, while simultaneously pumping out a large number of high quality art and original 3D models for use within the game.

Marketing Team

That’s me! I mean… That’s us! On the Bitguild marketing team, we take care of all external communications, press releases, emails, etc; all the stuff that’s crucial to growing the portal to something beyond what it is currently.

We come from a strong background of games and product marketing, with a diverse skill set including content writing, social media management, ad placement, public relations, user acquisition, and everything in between. Sarah is in charge of public relations, social media, and event planning, while Max handles all copywriting and editing needs. Fabio is the glue that holds the team together, coordinating everything and ensuring we are always on track with what’s going on at BitGuild.

Long term, we want to elevate the BitGuild portal into a household name when it comes to blockchain gaming. For this to happen, we do our best to create, and ensure high quality content on all public outlets, from blog posts, ads, videos, and social media, to news article coverage, sponsorship, events, and more!

If you’re reading about BitGuild anywhere, both on or off the official website, there’s a very strong chance we had something to do with it. If you ever want to reach out to us, we can be found on the official BitGuild discord server — come say hi!

BitGuild’s mission is to revolutionize the global gaming industry by creating a platform for a brand new class of games that live on the blockchain. Blockchain games completely redefine the relationship between players and developers by facilitating full and true ownership of in-game assets, cheap & safe item trading, cross-game compatibility of items & currency, and more.
