Australian Progressives

This party was formed at the same time as the Australian Progressive Party, and really that’s just poor planning guys (and sure, you’ve merged now, but be better).

Honestly the only other thing I can say about this party is that their values of ethics, empathy, evidence, empowerment, equality and engagement were definitely created after watching Sesame Street.

And I think any mildly forced link to Sesame Street probably makes you wholesome enough to be tolerable.

Policy

Most of it is pretty standard progressive fare. There’s various policy about protecting the environment. They think we should treat asylum seekers like human beings. They also want to reduce the working week to 4 days and cap CEO salaries, which is definitely something I can get behind.

There isn’t a huge amount of other policy but to be honest you can probably figure out what way they’re going to lean anyways.
