Seniors United Party of Australia
Overview
A party for old people and stock photos, or in some cases, both.
But beyond their founders looking like they may or may not have been reanimated from the grave, the party seems to pretty innocently just want to promote the rights of retirees. And while I really don’t want to give the baby boomers any more power, it’s not like they’re any worse than the Liberals.
Policy
Just a lot of stuff which the party hopes will improve the lives of seniors, with a focus on retiree income, health, aged care and housing. They also have some other misc policy such as introducing a federal anti-corruption body, some policy on veterans.
The only slightly out-of-the-ordinary policy is creating a seniors television channel, because clearly there isn’t enough Gardening Australia or Midsomer Murders on the ABC.
