Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party
Hot off their win of 3 lower house seats in the NSW election, you should be very afraid of this party. Not just because their name definitely tells you why that’s the case, but because they try to pretend that what you’re immediately going to assume about them isn’t accurate.
After One Nation got caught trying to get donations from the NRA, the party claimed that they weren’t as extreme as One Nation and their firearm policies were “from the centre”.
Let me ask you, does this look like it’s from the centre or a example of sensible gun control?
The answer is clearly no.
Policy
Not only is their firearm policy completely cooked, most of their other ideas are too.
Their “Outdoor Recreation” policy wants to open up National Parks to more 4WD’s (what a great way to destroy National Parks), as well as promote shooting and hunting as a ‘school activity’. Their “Safeguarding Our Environment” policy does the exact opposite, by being more concerned with allowing people to use the environment for whatever the hell they please, and by opposing the amount of marine sanctuaries we have, as well as wanting to change how we currently don’t mess with important and vulnerable environments and let them exist as they always have.
Most of their other policy is pretty misc and doesn’t reach the same levels of bullshit, but given the party’s name, you know that the main thing they will focus on is the policy I’ve mentioned here.
Vote for them if
You like to pretend you aren’t who you really are.
