The Trotskyist counterpart to the Marxist Socialist Alliance, and if you know the difference good on you, because I really don’t.

There’s only two things you need to know about the party. One, is that they’ve got a big revolution boner, with their statement of principles mentioning the word ‘revolution’ 43 separate times. Two, is that they got 0.06% of the national primary vote in the last election, putting them right near the bottom of the pile.

And honestly if that isn’t enough for you to let me label the party trash I’m sorry you’re disappointed.

Policy

So apart from their revolution manifesto, there isn’t a huge amount else to go off in terms of policy. They have some short statements on wanting to “unite the struggle of workers”, nationalising pretty much every major industry, and so on and so on and we get it you’re aggressively socialist.

But as I’ve said for other parties, a lack of policy is real worrying, because I like to know how you’re actually going to get these things, and I don’t want to die if your only plan is to overthrow everything.
