Tim Storer Independent SA Party

--

NOTE: Tim Storer has resigned from politics, and therefore the Tim Storer Independent SA Party will not be running this election.

There is only one member of the Tim Storer Independent SA Party: Tim Storer. There will only be one candidate for the Tim Storer Independent SA Party: Tim Storer. And there’s only one man that you hadn’t heard of before I used his name 4 times in two sentences: Tim Storer.

Tim Storer? Tim Storer!

But who is Tim Storer? Tim Storer was brought into parliament after the dual-citizenship fiasco, managing to grab a Nick Xenophon Team seat from the resigning senator, despite Tim Storer having left the party since the election. But Tim Storer wasn’t content just being an independent, and in a pretty smart play to avoid being lumped with all the other independent candidates, set up the Tim Storer Independent SA Party so he can have his own Tim Storer box above the line.

Policy

Whilst Tim Storer doesn’t have any policy on his Tim Storer Independent for SA website, he does have a number of issues he, Tim Storer, advocates for, and look that’s pretty close to policy so I’ll count it.

Tim Storer wants an increase to the Newstart welfare payment, promote greater take-up of electric vehicles, and not to strip funding from the ABC. And while Tim Storer claims he’s centrist, Tim Storer voted with the Greens on around 80% of the legislation that went through the Senate, so that’s a pretty good metric of seeing what Tim Storer believes in.

Vote for them if

Tim Storer.
