MARTYRS’ DAY

Martyrs’ Day is celebrated in memory of an incident of firing on political prisoners in 1931 in the Old Building, which served as a prison in the British period. In a tradition possibly begun in the 90s, the Institute pays homage to the Martyrs every year.
