What Is It With Food?

How do I kill food?

I live in Africa and I think it makes sense that I should be tired of eating the same kind of foods day after day?

Do you feel the same way?

I see your foods on social media, and I salivate over it like one wearing a shiny gold band and yet trolling the web seeking an affair- variety, eh?

I hate our food yet, give me a spoon of Jollof rice, a bowl of Egusi soup or some akara balls and I am in heaven.

Food, why do you do this to me? I don’t want to love you this much, but I see you served piping hot, and I just salivate!

I don’t understand it, but I know one thing for sure — I’ll always be here, spoon in hand.
