Dean’s List accomplishments

Jeffrey Scott Bogle of Voorhees has been named to the Wake Forest University’s Dean’s List for the fall 2010 semester 2010. Students who achieve a 3.4 grade point average and no grade below a C are named to the list.

Baking for fun

Bakers convened at the M. Allen Vogelson Branch Library’s Bake for Fun month event recently. Attendees were introduced to Amish Friendship Bread, and prepared a starter kit which they then brought home for completion.

Fire District Election Feb. 19

The Voorhees Fire District Election will be on Saturday, Feb. 19. Any Voorhees resident who is a registered voter will have an opportunity to cast a ballot.
