Hey guys! It’s been a hard day’s night and a hard working summer. Team Tokenbox is excited to share the Q3 report.

Q3 Achievements

Alpha Version of Wallet is live

In August we presented a multi-currency Wallet, which is the first yet very important step of the platform’s development. Registered Tokenbox users can deposit their funds to the Wallet, withdraw them, and exchange cryptocurrencies. The exchange process is available within a simple and user-friendly Wallet interface, with an exchange fee determined and collected by our partners Changelly.

TBX token is available in major Ethereum wallets

Security of tokens can still be a sticking point when it comes to storing them and holding private keys. That’s exactly why for storage of the TBX token Tokenbox chooses wallets that are the most safe, easy to navigate and install on various devices and platforms. We are happy to announce that the TBX token is now maintained by Trust and Tokenary wallets.

Trust provides multi-coin storage and supports both Ethereum network and over 30K ERC20 tokens.

Tokenary Ethereum Wallet is introduced by our partners and friends from Zerion. Simple and secure wallet gives fast access to ETH & ERC-20 tokens via any Apple device (iOS or macOS), and is considered to be the only native wallet available in Mac Store.

Tokenbox platform introduces KYC based on Telegram Passport

Security of clients’ and investors’ data is one of the top priorities when it comes to managing crypto assets and working with sensitive personal information during a KYC procedure. As users’ verification has become mandatory for most of the crypto projects, Tokenbox and the platform’s earliest partners, KYC-provider Sum&Substance, decided to simplify and accelerate the usual process of identity and credentials check. It is now available through Telegram Passport — a single platform for verification and storage of documents based on the most popular messenger in the crypto community. User’s personal data is encrypted with a personal key, and both are accessible only through a service that the user trusts his data with.

Throw the spotlight on market data — with our partners Datalight

To provide the most useful analytical tools for Tokenbox users we’ve studied dozens of market data providers. And it’s not only about looking at graphics and scrolling through newsfeed. We want our portfolio managers and traders to have it all: market data, blockchain data, media data, social data, you name it. And we found a tool that actually has it all. We’re happy to introduce our new partners, Datalight, a portal with a wide range of data on cryptocurrencies:

aggregated exchange platforms’ data, current price, trade volume, DOM structure, purchase and sale orders
distribution of assets by blockchain accounts, active accounts, dynamics of creating accounts, number of transactions
project’s mentions in media, site traffic, traffic sources, visitors geography, search engine statistics, Wikipedia views count and others.

ICO Marketplace

We also added an ICO marketplace that aggregates data about ongoing and upcoming ICOs from different platforms (ICO Bench, ICO drops etc.) and from crypto influencers. In addition, our fund analysts give their assessment of projects on a weekly basis.

IT & Design Team

Tokenbox platform made a developing leap frog in the past few months, all thanks to our almighty IT and design teams. The tech team was strengthened with a front-end developer and 3 back-end developers. We welcome them on board, and here’s a rough list of what they’ve managed to do in Q3:

Design mockups and internal testing of the sub-Accounts creation and management system, the Fiat and Wire Transfer deposit modules, the Transactions/Order History module

Legal Development & Licensing

Opened an account with TrustPay, an EU payment system which enabled TKNBX OU to provide its clients with service to exchange of virtual currencies against EURO (license FV000171).
The TKNBX success of working with financial institutions is based on the progress of implementing strict KYC/AML procedures. In addition to work with Sum&Substance, Tokenbox monitors latest developments in the regulatory field and explores solutions such as Cristal and Elliptic to track the origins of Bitcoin, and to estimate the risks of counterparties, and ComplyAdvantage — AI-driven database of people and companies that may pose financial crime risk.

Legal support of acquiring. We’ve partnered up with Indacoin, which provides the users of Tokenbox platform with an easy way to buy bitcoins and 700 other cryptocurrencies via Visa & Mastercard.

Tokenbox is Going Places

In September we were invited to attend one of the most amazing crypto conferences so far, the one that sailed the sea while changing the world of blockchain — Blockchain Mediterranean Cruise 2018, organized by Coinsbank. We were happy to become part of that fantastic event, that gathered such key figures as Roger Ver, John McAfee, Charlie Lee, Brock Pierce, Bobby Lee, Jimmy Song and many others onboard a ship that took us from Barcelona to Monaco, to Ibiza and back to Barcelona.

We witnessed hot, massive debates between Roger Ver and (let’s say, the whole world?!) Charlie Lee, Jimmy Song and other Bitcoin enthusiasts. We wondered if the world is sane enough to embrace blockchain and get rid of regulators with McAfee. We were dreaming about Burning Man, and gambling with Brock Pierce. We talked regulation with Taavi Roivas, former PM of Estonia. We enjoyed sunshine and warm mediterranean breeze.
